Summer Workshops 2010

"We all have the ability to do art---creative energy flows through us---and when we are in the right supportive environment, the process begins and we discover the joy of expressing our unique view of the world around us."

This season's workshop calendar will once again focus on painting both indoors as well as 'en plein air' in the mountains of beautiful southern Vermont. Three exciting workshops are being offered during the month of August when the days are sunny and warm and nights are cool and restful. At Fletcher Farm School in Ludlow, Vt., there will be a 3-day beginner pastel session where you will learn all the basics of this colorful medium, followed by a 4-day intermediate combination plein air with studio workshop when we will paint at various locations around the Ludlow area and do finished artwork in the studio at Fletcher Farm. Then, through the River Gallery School in Brattleboro, there will be a 2-day plein air workshop for all levels of painting ability and you can paint in the medium of your choice be it watercolor, acrylics, oils, pastels, pencil, colored pencil, or whatever. Site locations will be within the Brattleboro area. So pack your painting supplies and leisure clothes and join me for a great learning vacation of fun and creativity in Vermont!

Eden

As an artist and instructor, I believe God is revealing to His people greater visions of who He is and who we are in Him. Because I am a faith believer in the anointed, corporate body of Christ, I believe in the guidance and wisdom of the Holy Spirit. Visual artists of faith have a privilege and a responsibility to bring forth God-inspired images for service and purpose unto the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. It is my prayer and mandate to encourage artists to call forth those images He is imparting to us out of the body of Christ by faith. I believe God makes divine connections between artists of faith to join together and reveal through our artwork how great and how wise and how loving a God we serve.
